Description
Goal Zero Yeti 200X
Check the waveform as well as the wattage.
The Yeti 200X lists 187Wh of storage and a 120W rated modified-sine-wave AC inverter.
Choose the station around the devices and connections you actually need. Stored energy, output limits and the selected package each answer a different part of that decision.
Build the setup around these details.
Battery capacity: 187Wh Capacity is the stored-energy budget. The connected load and system losses determine how that energy is used.
Weight: 5 lbs Check the available space and how the item will be moved or mounted in the intended setup.
AC inverter: 120 W rated, 200 W surge; 120 V AC, 60 Hz; modified sine wave Check the connected equipment against the rated output and any separate surge or waveform requirements.
Check the modified-sine-wave requirement.
The Yeti 200X has a modified-sine-wave AC inverter. Confirm that the intended equipment supports that waveform as well as the rated output and voltage. Do not assume it has the same inverter specification as larger Yeti models.
Specifications and selected configuration
- Battery capacity: 187Wh
- Weight: 5 lbs
- AC inverter: 120 W rated, 200 W surge; 120 V AC, 60 Hz; modified sine wave
- Battery chemistry: lithium-ion NMC
Standalone power station. Solar panels and expansion batteries are not included.
Before you choose
What selected configuration or accessory condition should I check?
AC inverter: 120 W rated, 200 W surge; 120 V AC, 60 Hz; modified sine wave
How should I compare capacity and output?
Capacity describes stored energy. The rated output and connection limits determine which loads can be connected; any surge figure is a separate short-term specification.
Can I assume a fixed runtime?
No. Runtime depends on the connected load, operating pattern, conditions and conversion losses.
