Description
WEN DF480iX Dual Fuel Inverter Generator — 4800W Peak
An electric-start inverter with separate fuel ratings.
The DF480iX lists 4000W rated on gasoline and 3600W rated on propane, distinct from its surge figures.
Choose the operating fuel and a suitable outdoor location before planning the connected load. Running output, temporary startup demand and outlet compatibility need to work together.

Use the right rating for the job.
Gasoline: 4800W surge, 4000W rated Use the running or rated figure for a sustained load, and check temporary startup demand separately for the selected fuel.
Electric start and RV-ready outlet Compare the voltage, connector and connected equipment requirements before choosing a cable or transfer arrangement.
CO Watchdog and fuel shutoff An automatic protection feature does not make indoor or enclosed operation safe. Use the operating location and procedure specified by the manufacturer.
Make the operating location part of the plan.
Operate fuel-powered generators outdoors only, away from doors, windows and vents. Automatic sensors do not make enclosed operation safe. Connecting to building wiring requires appropriate transfer equipment and qualified installation.
